Jesus did not leave it up to us to discover our purpose in life, as individuals or as churches. Before he left earth to ascend into heaven, he gave his church marching orders: go and make disciples. Ever since, the church has had this as her unmistakable calling and God-ordained mission. Not only has Jesus called us to this mission of discipleship with those right around us, but he also makes it clear: we are to make disciples of all nations. That's why we are passionate about taking the gospel to the world so that people might know and enjoy Jesus as Savior and Lord.
